Ask yourself some questions
Can you meet its needs?
It's one thing to afford the dog or pup, the other is its needs. Many people have dogs loose in the yard, to walk or run with, what ever you do ,think of your responsibility and what you plan to do.
Make sure it won't be in the way of others and not become a problem.
What will you do when your gone ?
I suggest a place for the dog to be outside, with shelter , at least when your gone.,preferably a secured fenced kennel or yard is great, where they can have a bit of room and get fresh air.
Do you have time to walk them every day ? Spend time with them ?
These dogs do need regular exercise, they aren't hyper or happy under regular exercise and affection but to keep them manageable and enjoyable regular exercise will be a must, a fenced in yard will somewhat do instead of you walking them, but they will thrive on being your companion and spending time with them.
Have you done your research ?
Is this the breed you want ? Not just because it looks good ,Don't get the puppy or dog just because it's cute and cuddly, make sure you get yourself educated on what you want and why you want it. There are WAY to many dogs in rescue situations and don't add to it.
